    All portraits are approximately life size and painted in oil.  Complicated backgrounds and addition of pets will be
    quoted separately. A 1/3 deposit is due when terms are agreed upon, with the balance due upon completion and
    acceptance of the portrait. Portrait satisfaction is guaranteed (less deposit).

    The process begins with an initial conversation to discuss the wishes of the client which include: subjects,
    pose, clothing, setting and the environment where the painting will be displayed. After a deposit is received, a
    photo session is scheduled. Client and artist will review and choose the reference photos together. Some
    portraits may be a composite of multiple photos. Additional short sittings may be required. Adrienne will
    complete the portrait in her studio. Completion time varies, but is usually 2-4 months from the client approval
    of the composition.
