Oil Painting– All levels
This class is tailored to help each student at their own level whether beginner or
advanced, with an emphasis on the concepts and painting techniques that can be
learned from great paintings throughout history. Beginning students will work on
exercises or from reference photo that fits their skill level while advanced students
work on paintings of their choosing. Everyone benefits from demonstrations and
the instruction given to others in the group.

Fridays, Apr. 9 – Jun. 18, 9:30am-12:30pm  $300 (no class on May 7)
Sundays, Apr. 11 – Jun. 20, 1:00pm-4:00pm   $300 (no class on May 9)



The Lives and Lessons of the Masters: Portraits of John Singer Sargent –
A combination of hands-on painting and art history. Class begins with a trip to the
National Gallery of Art to study his colors and techniques. Then students will copy
one of Sargent’s portraits with step-by-step instruction while learning about his life,
friendships and artist journey. Look for upcoming series on Vermeer, Van Gogh
and Mary Cassatt.

Mondays, 9:30pm-12:30pm, April 12-June 14 (no class on May 10)
$300 plus supply fee; supply fee paid directly to the instructor.




Oil Painting – Teens and Preteens (age 11+)
This oil painting class will walk students through the process of creating a painting
on canvas. Students will become familiar with materials and time-honored
techniques that will give them a strong foundation as an artist. Adrienne Kralick has
been studying art since she herself was a young teen and has developed a system of
painting that takes the best from the Old Masters, Impressionists and current artists
with whom she has studied. The class setting is a supportive and encouraging
environment that adapts itself to the skill level and needs of each student.

Fridays, Apr. 9-Jun. 18, 3:30pm-5:30pm  (no class on May 7)
$280 plus $20 canvas fee paid to the instructor.


Private lessons available for $45 and hour.
